Puzzle games of March 2024

I didn't end up playing any of the new games of February although I heard the Brothers remake was to be avoided. You can still play the original at least! I actually ended playing a lot of shapez after trying the shapez 2 demo during the Steam Next Fest. More on that game in a future post.

Sixty Four

Sixty Four asks you to build machines in order to unlock more machines in an increasingly complex factory. After having a lot of fun playing shapez, I'm looking forward to exploring more factory builders.

Quilts and Cats of Calico

Already available on Switch, Quilts and Cats of Calico makes its way onto the PC this month. Originally a board game (named Calico) adapted for digital platforms, the game asks you to place hexagons with various colors and patterns in the most optimal way to satisfy a couple of changing conditions. Don't let the cute appearance fool you, this one's a real brain burner.
