Puzzle games at The Game Awards 2023
While The Game Awards didn't have too many puzzle games, it can still be interesting to watch for new announcements. The award for the best debut indie game was given to Cocoon, an obviously excellent puzzle game released just a few months ago.

On the side of announcements, I was excited to see a remake of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. The current version is probably still fine as it is, but having a remake means more people will have the chance to experience this unique game.
Two other puzzle/mystery games got announced as well, both new instalments of existing games. The first one, Pony Island 2 Panda Circus by Daniel Mullins, the creator of the first Pony Island and Inscryption among others, two fantastic and surprising games.
The last one is The Rise of the Golden Idol which will hopefully continue the hot streak the series appears to be on.
